Rochester has many miles of public recreational trails that provide great opportunities for nature walking, hiking, birding, boating, biking, fishing, cross country skiing, and horseback riding.
The New 2016 Explore Rochester Trail Guide includes information on 15 properties on land owned by the Town of Rochester, MA Division of Fisheries & Wildlife, Rochester Land Trust, City of New Bedford, and regional land trusts.
If you are interested in helping to maintain Rochester's public trails, please contact the Rochester Conservation Commission office at 508-763-5421 extension 206.
